Penn+Box

Box.com-1Hopefully, by now you’re aware of Penn’s new Penn+Box service, where Penn has partenered with Box.com to give every Penn student, faculty, and staff member 20GB of free cloud storage.  It works a lot like Dropbox, but with some additional features.  It should be especially useful for users of the Vitale Digital Media Lab trying to transfer files that are too large to be emailed, up to 5GB per file.

If you’re not familiar with it yet, do check it out.  You can read Kate’s detailed write up on the actual service, as well as a short tutorial I wrote on how to use Penn+Box with your iOS or Android phone or tablet.
