We are excited to announce a change in our Blackboard collaboration tools workshop. Instead of the usual how-to session for blogs, wikis and discussion boards, we have invited faculty to talk about how they use these tools in their courses. The session will include brief demonstrations of each of Blackboard’s collaboration tools; short talks by faculty members about why they chose to use the particular tool in Blackboard and how it related to their course objectives; and Q&A.
This discussion will take place from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, February 23. Our speakers will come from School of Arts & Sciences and the School of Nursing.
Brownbag lunches are welcome.
Those interested can register (requested but not required) at http://wic.library.upenn.edu/wicshops/bb.html. The session is open to faculty, staff, and graduate students.
