GoodGuide App

I learned recently about the GoodGuide App from Penn senior Misha Chakrabarti. HisGoodGuide senior thesis for an environmental sciences major, supervised by Amy Hillier, will explore if the use of this app can change consumer behavior. GoodGuide rates products in grocery stores based on perceived impact on health, environment and society. From looking over their website, the app sounded similar to RedLaser which allows you to look for bargains online by scanning a barcode.  Misha is looking for participants for his study. Volunteers will be asked to record food purchases and wear a GPS device for two weeks. Misha has requested that anyone interested can contact him by email.
