The Adobe Expo held on October 12, 2010 attracted 54 participants in the three workshops here at Weigle Information Commons. It was a special event is designed in collaboration with Adobe staff and is co-sponsored by ISC Technology Training Services. Timothy Plumer from Adobe conducted four separate sessions for different audiences at Penn:
- Make the Most – Acrobat and InDesign: A detailed demo for Acrobat and InDesign – for the new CS5 version. Designed for a typical user of Adobe software
- Connect Brown Bag Lunch : Adobe Connect is a powerful online learning platform of increasing interest to Penn.It provides real-time online communication as well as archiving capability. Designed for a typical user of Adobe software
- Train the Trainer – Dreamweaver and Illustrator: An advanced session for those on campus who provide training or assist others with Dreamweaver or Illustrator. This session assumed significant prior knowledge of the software.
- Technical Support for Adobe : An advanced session held at Sansom West in the Bits and Pieces Room (Rm 306) for those who support the technology infrastructure for Adobe products. This session included discussion of Windows 7 issues with Adobe.
