What happens abroad doesn’t stay abroad

You’ve probably heard friends and classmates raving about their travel abroad experiences. New places to explore, cultures to learn about, food to taste, music to enjoy–it’s all too enticing! But what about the questions you might have? Concerns? Curiosities?  The annual Penn International Experiences Festival can help quell your apprehension and increase your interest.

Come join us for an informal night here – next Wednesday – in the Weigle Information Commons for food, presentations, and Q&A with globe-trotting Penn students who have plenty of advice to share. Presenters with travel and life experiences in Africa, Australia, Central America, Europe, Middle East, South America, and more will be ready to answer your questions.

For a better idea of what to expect, check out this video from our 2012 festival!

We hope you’ll join us on Wednesday, January 23rd from 6:30-8:00 pm. A sampling of international foods and fun to be had for anyone considering travel or study abroad. For more information visit the Penn International Experiences Festival page. Our annual festival is sponsored by a large number of campus organizations.
