Our very own Lindsey Martin will be premiering the film she made for her MFA thesis this weekend.
Saturday, September 8.
6-8pm
Tuttleman Learning Center at Temple University (Northeast corner 13th and Montgomery Ave.)
Room 101
Lindsey’s film, Love Letter, examines the fantasies of Basil, an eight-year-old coping with the emotional anxieties triggered by the divorce of her parents. Basil’s shifting realities bring about an imaginary friend in the form of an earthworm. This whimsical consultation and a formal combination of puppetry and animation allow Basil to regain some notion of love within her changing familial system.
Hope to see you all there!
